The oil is very quickly absorbed into the skin and you're not left with a greasy feeling at all. It also comes with a spray pump included to ease application which I really appreciate. Whilst this oil is recommended for use on the thighs and buttocks, I've been able to use it on my legs and arms with no irritation at all - just don't use it on your face or any other sensitive area - citrus oils whilst fantastic can irritate the skin. I've found this out the hard way a few times - just don't do it!
The smell of this oil is truly yummy. When first applied you get a strong citrus scent, but it's a more sophisticated citrus smell than you would find in say a grapefruit shower gel. After a while the citrus fades and the Patchouli and Sandalwood come through, then after an hour or so has passed the remaining scent on your skin is rather delicate meaning you won't upset your partner with an overbearing scent if you apply near bedtime.
I can't offer any real review on cellulite improvement as yet, although studies have shown self massage, body brushing and upping your water intake can all improve the appearance. I have to say I am somewhat cynical when it comes to cosmetic products to deal with cellulite, from any brand, but I think self care, especially from a natural source product can't harm.
For me this oil serum is a lovely addition to my body care, leaves my skin feeling great and doesn't irritate my skin or cause breakouts like mineral oil products seem to. It smells truly lovely and I'm enjoying it very much. Decleor is considered a luxury skincare brand and thus the price point is as you might expect at a RRP of £47.00. This is for a 100ml bottle though and as with all oils a little goes a long way.
