I recently wrote about another product from The Organic Pharmacy, the Rose Facial Spritz. Whilst I genuinely enjoy the Rose Spritz, I had originally been considering purchasing the Herbal Toner Spray as it's said to be one of The Organic Pharmacy's 'Hero' products if you will, with lots of great reviews. I chickened out of buying as, in truth, I was a little put off by the name. Since embracing more natural products I've become used to and enjoy more 'earthy' scents and the understated fragrance of essential oils rather than the very potent artificial fragrances, however 'Herbal' can often be synonymous with smelling like dirt!

After purchasing and enjoying the Rose Facial Spritz I decided to take a risk and buy the Herbal Toner - I'm glad I did!

The Herbal Toner combines Aloe Vera and Witch Hazel along with many other herbs and extracts - Marshmallow, Marigold Extract, Green Tea, Blue Chamomile, Horsetail, Eucalyptus, St Johns Wort, Lavender, Peppermint, Rose,  Elderflower, Chickweed, Symphytum, Coltsfoot,  Nettles, Grapefruit, Lemon - said to minimise pores and give you radiant skin.

The scent is fresh, slightly citrusy yet delicate. I think the scent is delicate enough that even if you generally prefer unscented products, you'd probably still enjoy this as the scent dissipates quite quickly after applying. For me the scent is somewhat uplifting and makes me feel a little more awake on those bleary eyed morings!

I genuinely really enjoy this Toner, the spray action makes it so quick and easy and I love the fact that you don't need to use cotton balls or pads to apply. The Herbal Toner is advertised as suitable for Normal to Combination Skin, yet as someone with rather sensitive skin I have had zero problems with it at all. This can be used morning and evening, but I just love this in the mornings - as I mentioned before the scent is really refreshing, it's become an enjoyable part of my morning routine. I don't often experience that 'tight' feeling you sometimes get after washing your face since I've switched to more natural products, but if I ever do this spray takes it away almost instantly and feels really hydrating.

Overall I'm really happy I decided to ignore my concerns and order the Herbal Toner and I would repurchase - not something I say often! It's not the cheapest of toners available but I feel the price point is reasonable given it's made from all natural ingredients, many of the ingredients are also organic and also contains no alcohol, something thats often hard to find in a commercially made toner.
